What does Oste take from the PMS?
Oste connects to Apaleo with the hotel’s permission and reads reservations, guests, rooms, rates and folios. The PMS stays the system of record for bookings and money. Oste writes back only what it is allowed to, such as a room status, and every write is logged.
A hotel can try everything first on a demo hotel with invented guests and rooms, with no connection and no sign-up.
What does Oste do for guests and revenue?
Each guest has one profile: past stays, what they spent, which extras they booked, what they asked for and any instruction the team must follow. Before arrival and at online check-in, Oste is being built to offer extras such as breakfast, late check-out or an upgrade, and to note what was sold.

What is Oste AI, and what does it not do?
Oste is built on an AI architecture: the data model was designed so that anyone permitted can ask the hotel a question and get an answer with its sources, for example revenue per available room this week. Ask Oste is coming; the duty manager view drafts next steps for a person to approve.
AI assists and people decide. AI never makes hiring, disciplinary or performance decisions, and guest-facing drafts are sent by a person.
How does the team use it?
Every colleague has the phone app. Chat is translated into each person’s language, so a housekeeper writing in Romanian and a manager reading in German see the same thread. Shift handover, rota and hours, and training that adapts to what each person already knows are part of the team module.
What is Studio?
In Studio a manager describes a tool in one sentence, for example “show me tomorrow’s arrivals with no extras and draft them an offer”, and it is built on the hotel’s own data with the same permissions as the rest of Oste. Studio is in early access.
Where do housekeeping and maintenance fit?
Underneath sits operations: the live day, the room board, housekeeping, maintenance and stock. These modules are live in the demo hotel. They are the floor that the guest and revenue work stands on, not the whole story.
How do hotels pay for it?
A public price per room per month for the core, with modules on top that switch on or off any month. Everyone on the team is included and the API comes with every plan. The current numbers are on the pricing page, labelled as a founding price that may change.

Does Oste replace my PMS?
No. The PMS keeps rooms, rates, bookings and money. Oste works next to it and reads from it.
Which PMS does Oste work with?
Apaleo first, through its open API. Mews and other PMSs will follow. Oste is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apaleo or Mews.
Can I buy Oste today?
Not yet. Oste is in build and founding pilots are targeting early 2027. You can try the demo hotel now.
Where is the data kept?
In the EU by default. Oste acts as the hotel’s processor under GDPR.
