No. The PMS keeps rooms, rates and money. Oste runs the people and the work on top of it, and writes the results back, so the front desk never types the same thing twice.
What does “build your own” mean in practice?
You switch on only the modules you need, set them to your standards (checklists, departments, words, templates), and describe anything missing in Studio. Oste plans it with you, builds it on your data, and a person publishes it.
Do I need the AI?
No. Every screen works with the AI off. Turn it on when you want answers with sources, drafted handovers and Studio, and set a spending limit that starts at zero.
