The Today board is the screen a duty manager opens first: every room, arrival and departure of the day, read live from the PMS, with the few things that need a person at the top.

What is the Today board?
One screen for the day as it is now. Rooms, arrivals, departures and late checkouts come from Apaleo. Work from housekeeping, maintenance and guest requests sits beside them. The things that need the duty manager come first, each with the reason it is there and a fix to take.

Who is it for?
The duty manager, the front desk and the general manager of an independent hotel or small group. Anyone who today walks between the PMS, a WhatsApp group and a notebook to learn what is happening. Staff on the floor see their own part of it on the phone.
How does it work with Apaleo?
Oste reads bookings, rooms and status from Apaleo through its open API and shows them as a live day. When a room is cleaned or goes out of order in Oste, the status is written back. Rooms, rates and money stay in Apaleo. The connection uses credentials issued to Oste, never borrowed ones.

What does it cost?
The core is from €5 per room per month, with a minimum of 20 rooms (€100 a month).
Founding price, draft: the price model is not final and nothing can be bought yet.
What it does not do yet
Today runs end to end in the demo hotel. No hotel runs on Oste yet: founding pilots are planned for early 2027. Mews and Cloudbeds are not connected yet.
Questions hotels ask
Does the Today board replace my PMS?
No. Apaleo keeps rooms, rates and money. The Today board shows the day on top of it and runs the work around it.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Oste has a web app and an iPhone and Android app on one account. Staff see their own tasks, and the app keeps working with no signal.
How does it decide what needs the duty manager?
Each item shows why it is there, for example an arrival whose room is not ready, so the person can check it and act.
Can I try it?
You can book a demo and see the Today board in the demo hotel. Oste cannot be bought yet.
