What is in an Oste handover?
Arrivals still to come, rooms not ready, out-of-order rooms, open guest requests, open work and the notes the team adds. Each line shows where it came from. The outgoing person adds what only a person knows, then signs off, and the next shift reads it on the phone.

Who is it for?
Front desk, night audit, housekeeping and maintenance leads, and the duty manager of an independent hotel. Anywhere the handover today is a notebook, a WhatsApp message or a shared spreadsheet that depends on who wrote it.
How does it work with Apaleo?
Arrivals, departures and room status come from Apaleo, so the handover starts from what the PMS knows. What the team adds stays in Oste. Rooms, rates and money stay in Apaleo.
Is there a free shift handover template?
Yes. This site has a printable hotel shift handover template with an invented example, in English, German and Italian. You can use it on paper first and move to Oste when you are ready.

What does it cost?
The core is from €5 per room per month, with a minimum of 20 rooms (€100 a month). Handover adds from €0.50 per room per month.
Founding price, draft: the price model is not final and nothing can be bought yet.
What it does not do yet
Handover runs end to end in the demo hotel. The drafted lines come from the day’s data and are always checked by a person. No hotel runs on Oste yet: founding pilots are planned for early 2027.
Questions hotels ask
Does the handover send anything to guests?
No. A handover is internal. Nothing in it is sent to a guest.
Who is responsible for what a handover says?
The person who signs it off. Oste drafts the lines from data and shows the source of each, but a person reads, edits and signs.
Can the team read it in their own language?
Yes. Each person reads the handover in their own language, with the original available.
Do we need the AI for this?
No. The handover is drafted from the day’s data and works with the AI switched off.
