Oste is hotel operations software for independent hotels on Apaleo. The PMS owns rooms and money; Oste owns the guests, the people and the work around them. For guests and revenue it keeps one profile per guest with what they spent and booked, offers extras before arrival and at online check-in, runs membership and asks for reviews. Oste AI is being built to answer questions about the hotel with its sources, such as revenue per available room this week, and to draft the duty manager’s next steps for a person to approve. For the team it brings handover, chat translated into every colleague’s language and training that adapts. Operations such as the room board, housekeeping and maintenance sit underneath. With Studio, a manager describes a tool in one sentence and it is built on the hotel’s own data. Hotels pick the modules they need and pay per room. Oste is in build, with founding pilots targeting early 2027.

Oste AI is being built to let anyone permitted ask the hotel a question and get an answer with its sources: revenue per available room this week, which arrivals have no extras, who is on shift tonight. A duty manager view will draft the next steps and a person decides; AI never makes hiring, disciplinary or performance decisions. For the team, Oste brings shift handover, chat that is translated into every colleague’s language, rota and hours, and training that adapts to what each person already knows. Operations sit underneath: the live day, the room board, housekeeping, maintenance and stock. With Studio, a manager describes a tool in one sentence, for example extras for tomorrow’s arrivals, and it is built on the hotel’s own data, with the same permissions as the rest of the system. Hotels pick the modules they need and pay a public price per room per month; the whole team is included and the API comes with every plan. Data is kept in the EU by default, and Oste acts as the hotel’s processor under GDPR. Oste is built for Apaleo through its open API and is not affiliated with Apaleo. It is in build: ten founding hotels shape it, and pilots are targeting early 2027.

Oste (OS-teh) is Italian for the innkeeper, the host who knows the house. Write it with a capital O and no article: “Oste”, not “the Oste”.
